Our brief was simply
“Do something cool”
We have a long history working with the band Topology, an avant-garde chamber group (that’s their music in the video below!) who regularly tour Australia and internationally. Their marketing manager was about to spend a few months overseas furiously networking at music conventions to create more opportunities for Topology to tour and collaborate internationally. But with everyone at the conventions doing exactly the same thing, Topology needed to cut through the crowd and demonstrate how established, interesting and unique they are in seconds.
Our solution was to create the most memorable, engaging and “cool” business card possible … one that also sums up the Topology brand.
How did we do it?
In one word: lasers.
In a few more words: we used laser etching to cut the Topology logo out of the centre of the business card, creating a unique piece of branding that everyone wants to play with.
